Job Description

Position Description Purpose & Scope

Assist the controller in managing the finance and accounting departments providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.

Responsibilities

  • Administers accounting policies and directives
  • Assist in developing corporate policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and prepare the monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
  • Work with outside tax accountants.
  • Direct and coordinate all company activities relating to human resources functions
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Follow and improve area processes.
  • Experience in Inventory Control process

Skills Required

  • Able to speak and write English fluently
  • Accounting Degree
  • 5 years’ experience in corporate accounting QuickBooks experience
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
  • Able to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to talk, hear and communicate with others in English.
  • Frequent sitting, walking, bending, and squatting.
  • Ability to sit and perform work on a computer or at a desk.
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
