1 Review "Blueberry Fruit Bar"

Soft, chewy, and delicious.

This was the first Betty Lou's product that I have tried.

The packaging has a "classic" look to it, almost like food packaging from the 90's, which is nice.

The price for this product at my grocery store is $1.49. If you're buying this as a one-time treat during the week, then it is pretty affordable, but for those who have snack bars daily, it could add up to about $11 in a week for 7 bars, as opposed to paying between $3-$5 for a 12 count snack bar box.
However, one thing to keep in mind is the ingredients you pay for. Arguably, quality over quantity.

The ingredients appeared to be better than what you would find in similar "fruit" filled bars. It is nice to know that all the sugars come from natural fruit and fruit juice. Big thumbs up for that!

The actual "pie" it self is delicious. Because it is "gluten-free", I was expecting this to be crumbly, dry, and a little bit hard. But, this product was soft and chewy.
Unlike other "gluten-free" snacks, this one is NOT high in fat. It was a surprise to find it only had 3g of fat and 180 calories.

The taste of this product is very nice. Yes, it DOES taste like a "piece of pie"!
The taste of this product is a mix of blueberry pie filling, a blueberry toaster pastry, and/or those soft baked, "fruit" filled cereal bars.
That being said, this product is a bit on the "sweet" side. So, if you are someone who does not enjoy very sweet foods, such as those mentioned above, then you may not fully enjoy this product. I still say give it a chance. From the looks of it, Betty Lou's makes products not as sweet, and even savory products, so everyone can have their fun.

Overall, I found this product to be soft, chewy, delicious, and an overall great snack.
I recommend this product to people.
