Dark Chocolate Coconut Cashew Bars

What a shame. These are no longer my go to breakfast. These used to be so good. Now they are thin and dry. I wish I could still order the original.

I eat one every day

I would like to give these bars 5 stars, but I've reduced it to 3 because they are so inferior to their predecessor. They made the bars smaller, which would be fine if they had kept the thickness ratio the same. Since they thinned them out too, they are just too dry and are no longer soft and fresh. My husband tried to convince me it was in my head, so I took and older one and a newer one and had him try. He agreed, there was no comparison. The original bar, though older and nearly "out of date", was still softer and fresher tasting than the newer one. Don't get me wrong, I still have a bar for breakfast every morning because I can't find a good replacement. I just wish they wouldn't have messed with them . I've bought up all the older larger bars I could find, but now I'm out of luck. Note to Betty Lou's; it would be nice if you would re-evaluate your new formula. You could keep the weight the same but reshape the bars so they stay soft and fresh by making them a little smaller but thicker. Or I would even pay a little more to get the original size bars!
